Dimashq coin purse

£18.00

Our Dimashq coin purse is inspired by Damascus, the city we love and miss. It Is a modern take on the traditional Middle Eastern embroidery motifs.

Like all Oshana pieces, it is made by Syrian refugee women who were forced to flee their homes due to the war, leaving everything behind. The women we work with now live in Lebanon, where there are no bombs, but where over 90% of refugees lack the money to buy enough food, according to the UN. Oshana provides a crucial and dignified income.

Lined and with an intricately hand-embroidered front panel.
