Tadmur is the Arabic for Palmyra, an ancient and breath-takingly beautiful Syrian city in the desert, which as been heartbreakingly damaged during the conflict. This design is inspired by the embroidery of the Bedouin people, who called Tadmur home. This incredible city, and the rich lives and traditions of those who lived within it, are yet another casualty of the conflict. Through the Tadmur cushion, we honour and preserve this vanishing heritage in our own small way.
