Malika patchwork crochet tops

£50.00

All hail Malika, Queen of our crochet collection.

The Malika design is made by an incredibly talented group of Syrian refugee women, and takes days to complete. This design speaks of their unrivalled creativity, bringing together an array of vibrant hues to create the seamless patchwork pattern you see before you.

Not only does the Malika honour these women’s creativity, but it also allows them to keep moving forward, stitching a better future for their families through their own skill and resilience:

“Any woman who works with us will tell you she is stronger now, because she became a maker, and because she is able to work and provide things for her family. It’s satisfying to make something with your hands and see it come out beautiful, and know you did it well. I take pleasure in it." Nariman, Oshana artisan.
